The Southdown Dental Practice has been established for many years and was formally a residential cottage.

In 2006 the dental practice acquired the adjoining cottage in order to expand the existing surgery and provide for the increasing demand of private and NHS patients.

The main works involve reconfiguring both buildings, altering the space to accommodate a larger waiting area and reception, and increasing the number of surgery rooms from four to six.
