The Harpenden branch of Barclays Bank is housed in one of the oldest structures on the High Street, lying within the central conservation area of the village.

The four storey red brick building features original white painted timber sash windows. The two floors above the busy working bank were previously used as offices.

Permission was obtained to extensively convert the offices in to four high standard one bedroom flats, meeting demand in the immediate area for compact living space with easy access to Harpenden’s shops, bars and restaurants, and walking distance to the railway station.
